Scores of fans thronged Kakyeeka stadium home of the Ankole Lions to catch a glimpse of their new Swedish technical guru Hanson and the entire management headed by newly appointed manager Livingstone Mbabazi, the players who were taken through drills and physicals looked in buoyant mood as they were taken through their paces.
New signing Ivan Eyam took part in the sessions as the club eye early preparations for the season, Mbarara News understands the Ankole Lions wilL start their preseason on the 14th with a trip to Ibanda, before subsequently traversing the rest of the country with high profile build up friendlies.
The Mbarara based club is also close to announcing two big signings and a partnership with Swedish club Helsinborg a development that will see the club share a lot in terms of market for players and other technical aspects as revealed by the Club Patron, Hon Mwine Mpaka.
