Chefs from renowned hotels and restaurants around Uganda excited revelers by preparing culinary savour meals using various Fresh Dairy products during the 6th Annual Uganda International Hotels and Restaurants Expo held at Hotel Africana from 6th to 8th September 2018. The Fresh Dairy products used during the Expo’s cooking competition ranged from Fresh milk, Ghee, Butter, Yoghurt and fresh cream.
Speaking during the event, Monica Kulabako, Marketing Executive Fresh Dairy said “At Fresh Dairy, we produce healthy and nutritious dairy products enjoyed by a diverse group of consumers. Being part of the 6th Annual Uganda International Hotels and Restaurants Expo provided Fresh Dairy with an opportunity to use local and international chef’s professional cooking demonstrations to showcase how Fresh Dairy products can be used to enhance healthy and nutritious meals.”
Kulabako added that Fresh Dairy products are not only healthy and delicious but are rich in Calcium, Vitamin D, Protein, Phosphorous, Magnesium, Potassium, Vitamin B 12 and Zinc. “Fresh Dairy milk products also have health benefits such as increased bone strength, smoother skin, stronger immune system, prevention of chronic illnesses such as hypertension, dental decay, dehydration, respiratory problems, obesity, osteoporosis and even some forms of cancer,” she said.
During this Expo, Fresh Dairy as a brand was also able to interact with the over 1,000 participants that took part through the various free product sampling sessions held over the 3-day period.
The annual Expo was organized by Uganda Hotel Owners Association (UHOA), Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), MTN Uganda and the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) with an aim of uniquely showcasing and bringing together Uganda’s cultural diversity, the hospitality industry, vast businesses, suppliers, purchasers from all walks of life and tourism investment opportunities available.
