Mass Exodus At Endigyito Radio,Station Sinks In Deep Crisis

All is not well at Endigyito radio 88.3 FM,Mbarara News can exclusively report.

The high street based radio station is in deep crisis after most of its top presenters tendered in their resignations with immediate effect.

According to our sources at the station,veteran journalist Clare Chopper of Ebaruuha mid morning show has already left the station.

When Mbarara News contacted Clare one of the most popular presenters in western Uganda,she indeed confirmed her resignation and also rubbished the rumors that she was fired.

“I was not fired by anyone so I don’t know what they are talking about, the owner of this radio promised to pay me well and he couldn’t live to his promises,that’s why I have resigned to concentrate on my businesses.” said Clare

Sources intimated to Mbarara News that many top presenters are demanding the station salary earliers of up to 10 months and the station owner Hon Nuru Byamukama may be taken to court.

In other related development,many employees have also left. These include Pamela,who worked as a Receptionist,Susan from the advert trafficking office and Omugalanda Emma who left for greener pastures at Rwenzori FM.
