Over 100 people have been shortlisted in different categories for the annual Mbarara Entertainment Awards.
The awards are being organised by Asante Media– the mother company of Mbarara News and the awarding ceremony will take place on November 23, 2018 at Adit Mall Mbarara.
“Between now and the November 20th, people shall be voting for their favorite personalities in the different categories, ” Jarc Tusiime– the managing director Asante Media says adding “The popular vote via SMS, on Mbarara News Facebook page and the decision of the judges shall determine the winners.”
To vote for your favorite artist just go to Mbarara News Facebook page and twitter handle @MbararaNews type the name of the artist and the category he or she is nominated in.Voting will end on 20th November at midnight.
The SMS voting code will be availed soon.
Some of the mouthwatering categories include : The Mbarara Personality Award, The Artist of the year, Best Radio Station,Best hangout spot, Best TV presenter, Best DJ, Best Male artist, Song of the year, best Hotel among others.
