News reaching Mbarara News Sports Desk is that of an upcoming mouth watering BUNGABET FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2022.
The football calendar has been released by the Bungabet who are the sponsors of the tournament which will bring together all the Subcounties & Town councils of whole Mbarara district.
According to the organizers,the tournament will start on Saturday, 12/2/2022 and the whole of mbarara district will get a feel of the Bungabet touch.
The Chief executive officer of Bungabet Company told Mbarara News that the Winner will walk away with 2 million + Bull,the runners-up will get a whooping 2 million shillings.
Mr Prosper Tuhaise who doubles as the NRM chairman for Mbarara District also noted that other participants (teams) will get 1 million each with other benefits like: full branded uniform and soccer balls for each team,Transport (for visiting team), Refreshments, Medical among other goodies courtesy of Bungabet Uganda.
The organizers also noted that the following teams have already confirmed their participation in Bungabet football tournament and these include:
-Bwizibwera-Rutooma town council
-Rwanyamahembe town council
-Bukiro town council
-Bukiro sub county
-Bubaare sub county
-Rubaya subcounty
-Kashare sub county
-Nyabusirira town council
-Kagongi sub county
-Rubindi- Ruhumba town county
-Rubindi sub county
This is not the first time Bungabet is sponsoring sports activities in Mbarara district,it should be noted that Bungabet brought soccer stars from Arsenal football club and Newcastle.
