Uganda’s leading academic institution has announced that it has scholarships for Muslims during this month of Ramadan.
Ramadan, which kicked off earlier this month is in fulfillment of the third pillar of the Islamic faith. During this time, Muslims observe a period of fasting and refrain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset.
The Victoria University management says those that qualify to join this scholarship program should submit their applications to the University.
”A Muslim family has offered two full scholarships for students to join Victoria University in September 2022 intake,” announced the University.
